The Christian Children's Ranch has been providing Christ-centered homes to homeless and at-risk children since 1946. We have provided caring & loving families in 4 live-in homes for boys & girls, ages 11- 17. Each home has housed up to 10 children in a loving and structured environment. Our staff model home life, social skills, work ethic, faith and integrity!
The ranch is located on 80 acres, with 4 residential houses used for dorms, 1 residential directors home. A fully accredited Christian school, Ekklesia Academy on-site using ACE curriculum with school staff living on campus, offices for administration, a mechanics shop, wood shop, barn, food room, conference room, pasture with horses and cattle, a 4-1/2 acre fishing pond, and 22 acres for hay. It is a very peaceful environment located along the Boise River, yet only a few miles from area churches, shopping and restaurants.
We are transitioning from House parents to Residential Directors, Residential Assistants, Cooks, Principal, and Teaching staff. Our houses will be residential dorms with separate Boys and Girls living. Our curriculum will involve the standard basic subjects offered by ACE while incorporating the theme, “From the Field to the Table,” teaching students additional subjects:
- animal care - farming - personal finances - car care - job seeking and training.
There will be a continued emphasis on Spiritual training that will involve devotions, Bible study, chapel, and youth activities within our local church bodies. The ministry will also become more involved, coming along side each student’s family, providing the opportunity to bring about real change in restoring families.
